I like this album. Not as much as traced in air, but its still enjoyable.
Does anyone else think the beginning of 'moon heart sun head' kinda sounds like a backstreet boys song?

The Lions Roar, Infinite Shapes, and The Holy Fallout are great. The rest....a bit flat.
And to think I bought Paul and Sean's album well over a year ago so I could get in the liner notes of this LOL.

This is the most obnoxious piece of heinous anus I've ever come across, I mean why is he talking about all this philosophical crap? Is that what songwriting is aboot? No it's not.

Some of the shit on this is just too catchy for me to give it below a 3.

Also, this review (pardon me if im wrong) seems to be saying it's more offensive for an album to be inoffensive than to be blatantly bad, because the latter is at least respectable. and i dk how i feel about that at all
i mean just because something is ambitious / something new doesn't mean it inherently should be respected for that sole quality y'know what im sayin? this is why this review is kinda confusing to me, because i dont really see how such tepid music as this could cause such a negative stir for someone to call it 'garbage'

Really the only reason why the mediocrity of this album is fueling a pretty much unanimous hatred is the strength of their previous efforts.

Basically, my thought is that even if an album infuriates me, at least it left some impression, some lasting impact. I feel that if it can't even get a reaction out of me, that's even worse because it was of no use to me whatsoever.

this does make sense, but at the same time something that's egregiously bad shouldn't be more valuable to you because it fails as opposed to just sizzling out, you know?

i dk there are important conversations to be had here but i'm not finding the right words tonight

Yeah, I see what you mean, and I do sorta have a problem with both failing and sizzling out when it comes to albums. Tbh, I'm pretty curious to see how your review's gonna turn out with that 2.5 rating if you're sticking to that.

i just thought it was boring af idk
I hate listening to albums as bland as these because all I did was waste my time, while listening to bad albums I can usually get a laugh and enjoy myself regardless
it was also kinda annoying at a lot of spots

yea like the other day I checked out some songs from The Unspoken King and I actually loved it because it was so, so, so, so, SO bad I was just laughing the whole time
this is just generic and uninteresting mumbled shit with atrocious lyrics so eh
