Checked a few songs off this, seems good. Don't know why I hadn't checked out this band before. Seems rather well timed for me personally too as I've recently become friends with a lot of people who are transgender (mtf and ftm) and even had a brief relationship with one so I've definitely come to understand it a lot more in the past few months and have a pretty different perspective on this album to what I would have had say, 6 months ago (well I'm really liberal anyway so just wouldn't've understood or cared about the ideas in this album so much). Add to that the music's really great anyway. I'm genuinely intrigued to see what impact this album might have on the punk scene's attitude to these things or what effect it could have on a larger scale cos you know people are going to make a big deal of it.

I love this record to death, but I can't get into Osama Bin Laden As The Crucified Christ for the life of me. It sounds like a Load era Metallica song, and it's weird because I really like Load. Unngh.
