I think Major Minor took everything great about Beggars and multiplied it. I sort of view the two as companion pieces since they sound so similar

I think the two are completely different, M/M was them trying to do the same style but without the rawness that gave it it's edge. Also yeah gotta check this

The writing is insanely atmospheric and dense, giving a heavier sort of vibe despite the slower song structures. These songs jam pretty hard though and the vocals are amazing. I'd prefer this one a bit more. Their sound is definitely refined
