Going through the discog and this one is the first that seems to match the revelatory nature of Closing Time

Good lord, this rules just as hard as Rain Dogs. Both need more listens so idk which I prefer yet, but they're both absolutely incredible. Can't wait to dig more into his discog.

Underground, Shells, Neighbourhood, t/t etc. There are enough big bois to justify a bump. I think the interludes are helping to separate the hits more than I’d previously considered. I suppose there are less ‘actual songs’ here (than Rain Dogs) and maybe that ain’t no bad thing.
I like Bone Machine also but I’ve spent less time with it overall. I wasn’t head-over-heels for Closing Time. Still need to check Frank’s Wild Years.
