I liked your review, maybe review something I like sometime. I'm not someone who has to understand lyrics to like music(have you ever heard Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam?) but it needs to sound good, and this is the farthest thing from pleasant sounding. Death metal is apparently for outsiders, so I guess that's why I don't like it, or maybe its just way to f**king weird and sick. I'm totally against saying music sucks because if some people like it, it's gotta be alright, but I make and exception for s**t like this. Death Metal sucks and thank god it isn't played on the radio.

Grunge died ten years ago. Shoo.

I don't know about you, Masscows, but I don't think I would take a review request from this fool.

I would just to give it a 1.
Oh, I STILL don't have this. I have Tomb of the Mutilated and it isn't that good, save a few songs, but since this looks much better than everything else they've done, I might check this out in the not-so-distant future.
Funny, I've seen this band live twice and don't like them very much and only have one of their albums... :DThis Message Edited On 06.27.07

TOTM is a great album, as is this. CC is classic and very influntial to the genre. I have KILL, Bloodthirst, Gallery Of Suicide, The Bleeding, Tomb of the Mutilated, and Butchered At Birth, and they are all at least good.

I meant most of the songs on Tomb of the Mutilated are more of a 3, while a few are 4-4.5

I reviewed it, if you want to see what I think.

Butchered at Birth is actually a little bit better than TOTM. Both are classics though.
Masscows:
Give them a try, try to check out songs from their entire catalouge and see how they have progressed and then go back and listen to TOTM, you will probablly like it a lot better.

that's got to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard.
However, as much as I like death metal, I just will never have any love for Cannibal Corpse.

This album has the first song I've ever liked from CC... "Make Them Suffer" is actually kind of catchy even.

Listen to their Bloodthirst album, it's by far their catchiest.

I think Gallery Of Suicide is.

Yeah, GOS is pretty catchy at times, it was the first album in which they started to get catchy.

I think it is one of their bests as well. Very diverse for them.

I like this cd a lot, for some reason I like Corpsegrinder more than Barnes, I'm probably one of the few people here that thinks that.

Very good review, I like the style and layout.
After avoiding the band for a while, I thought i'd give them a listen. This is the second CC album I've heard, the other being TOTM.
I have to say I prefer Corpsegrinder's vocal approach; retains the brutality but helps keep things more varied.
Any suggestions for further CC listening? This Message Edited On 12.31.07
