They arn't emo, but they also just arn't any good. I don't see anything special about MCR, just a few catchy songs and that's about it.

By the argument that they're emo as they have emotional music and whiny vocals, you'd logically arrive at the conclusion that Radiohead are emo. Which is clearly nonsense. Their dress sense has nothing to do with their music at all, and likewise the subject matter of their songs. They just aren't emo. Period.

You can't have your opinion because you have just proven yourself the most retarded person on the planet. You don't know what emo is, you haven't heard an emo band, and you don't know ANYTHING. So shut ... the hell... up.

Seriously, stop the fight about if MCR are emo or not. They are not, period. The next new person that enters here and states "They are so emo" gets whacked. In the face, with... hell, whatever is within reach.

Go to some whatever site like fourfa.com to get an idea of what Emo is, and what it is not. But don't keep fighting here, it's getting old

While I dislike this album pretty much I must say that their not emo, same for JeW(except for the fact that they rock).

how do you not like cemetary drive?? That's probably my favorite song on the cd. Their first one is so much better though IMO.

To be quite honest I don't care if their music is emo or not crap music sounds all the same to me. Repeatative lyrics depressing one track minded album which is annoying. Also as a bassist I feel I have to address the fact that the bass on this album is the worst I have ever seen no imagination at all
