25 bucks is one of the best. sounds like a sadistik track

ghetto anthem

dubstep is short and sweet - delivering one of the strongest verses on the entire album. also break it >>>>> way up here. break it has a cool kinda apocalyptic-sounding drumbeat to it that i like. up here really only serves to test my speakers and feels like maybe one of two filler tracks.

"filler? lol"
Yeah, problem with the concept of opinions? To me, there's 2/3 "filler" on this album, i.e. a lot of stuff that might be listenable but not interesting and some that are rather boring.

just didnt think the idea of filler was up to debate lol - something is filler because it doesnt add to the album.
Most of this album is integral to its concept and themes aside from the songs I mentioned like Break it and Handstand
which are similar retreads.
@Gyromania Way Up Here grew up me really quickly. It seems like a beat made to trip up rappers and to be honest, danny
brown and ab soul wreck it in the most awesome way possible lol
Either way I love how some of his most awesome flows are on his least substantive tracks
POP THAT PUSSY ON A HANDSTAND, RECORD THAT ON MY HANDYCAM

"ust didnt think the idea of filler was up to debate lol - something is filler because it doesnt add to the album."
To quote the Dude: That's just - like - your opinion, man. Filler to me is anything that is wasting space in between songs that are interesting. I don't give two flying fucks about how "integral" a song is to the album. If I don't like it, I don't like it - end of story. Not sure I even care about the concept of this album since I'm not a fan of this whole party-boy/introspective drug addict shtick.

Calling this his 'proper debut' is very upsetting to me and trivializes what XXX was.
A 5.0 from staff is very surprising.
Album is very spectacular. shout out to the kid Zelooperz, he's doing big things in the city. Check out his song 'Hit A Lick' if you're in the mood to have fun.
Skywlkr does some pretty interesting things here. The beat to "Dope Fiend Rental" was very clearly constructed for Danny's voice and flow. Sky and Danny are growing together, and I love it.
Chavis Chandler, Chip$, and Dopehead aren't around this time, but Zelooperz is here so it's okay (Danny is on Chavis' tape anyway, if I recall, and Chip$ was locked up during the recording of this but he's out now).
This is probably the first time a ScHoolboy Q feature didn't make me want to rewind the song. In fact, the features on this album besides Purity Ring, Scruff, and Zelooperz could all be done without, but I guess it's fine to interject something between songs upon songs of Danny Brown verses.

Though Schoolboy Q was awesome, almost all the features just take some time to grow on you and then just seem to find their place on the album
But I hope my daughter don't be like this
But I know her mama know that shit exist

It's a pretty solid album, but it kind of loses its momentum a little over halfway through...he doesn't really change up the delivery of his raps...most of the beats are badass though
