Disc 1 is remarkable but disc 2 brings the whole thing down so much. I'd say it's in the middle

Bonnie the cat has the best drumming of the album

But SW vocals and melodies are so bad on it

Not completely boring but PT's career deserved a better ending.

I don't even have the second disc ripped to my PC.

Don't like IA or Deadwing or Signify?

I like a few tracks on IA and DW. I used to love them but I over listened to both of them I think.

I guess Lightbulb Sun is my overall favourite, but I still don't jam it all that much anymore.

Whoa, what you trying to say there? They'll come back...

They'll come back I tell you!

I know what you mean, Beef. I listened to them far too much than I should have when I was younger, so I completely avoid them now to preserve some replay value and stuff

I hope for a comeback, too, but till they figure out their differencies, we'll have to wait. Anyway, I adore SW's solo career and I also hope for another Storm Corrosion rec.

I don't share the same feeling about SW's solo stuff but a new Storm Corrosion would be great

Yeah. Mike and Steven haven't turned down the idea for a new album. Yet. They seem to be really fond of it actually.

Probably do it when Mikael gets bored of doing 70s prog

The way I see it, Opeth will do another 70's prog album and then the hype will disappear. Another SC album would be perfection.

Or they'll just break up soon. I don't think they'll be around for too much longer to be honest

Why would you say that? It's not like the other members are unhappy with the current direction, I mean look at Axe he's loving it.

@JamieTwort Well, it's just a feeling. Of course I could be wrong. Anyhow, I love both kinds of Opeth so I don't mind.
