Hmmm......okay review, but this album is AWESOME. loved almost every song, wished it was longer. The Curse sucked, but this was one heck of a comeback.



Ex's and Oh's pwns

I dont mind a little Ateyu, but Ex's & Oh's is one of the worst songs Ive heard by them. Its so cheesy it makes some of their other stuff look original (which it isnt). I have no regrets missing these guys at Download...

i actually like Ex's and Oh's, the solo is rad. I got this before i got The Curse, and i must say that even though this album is better as a whole, the guitar work really took a step down, and Alex's scream changed ever so slightly, but the Curse is an awesome album, i really can't decide which album i like more.

no, not barfing vocals, a different scream. i have always liked alex's scream and i would never call it barfing. I dont know if i like his scream on the Curse or this better.

What he's doing is essentially voluntary dry-heaving. At least, it may as well be. I'm not sure if it's already happened, but he's close to blowing his voice out any day now.

I like this album alright. The frontman over does the screaming in some of the songs. I too noticed that this half hour album dragged. It feels like it goes on for an hour. A7X's City Of Evil feels shorter than this in my opinion, and it's an hour and a half long about.

Atreyu is starting to grow on me, I only like a few songs from each of their CDs, but the guitarist is what sticks out the most, he's got a ton of talent in my opinion.

I haven't really liked this album to much more then when I first bought it, the vocals just drag it down so much, it's hard to listen to at points.
