As a HUGE fan of Fake History, I decided to finally create a profile on here just to say how truly awful this album sounds, sonically. I mean, are people tone deaf? Songwriting is good, so the songs might sound great live, but the production and/or mastering (not an expert on this shit) make the album sound like it was recorded while the band was underwater, two rooms over.

The chorus for White America's Beautiful Black Market might have the worst production and/or mastering I've ever heard
on a major label release.

I don't know what baffles me more: that the band allowed this to happen, or that people actually like the album, sonically
speaking. To each their own, but wow; bush-league shit right here.

I bet when they got together to write this this is what was said "hey guys lets make our next album's melodies like really epic and then lets add extra incoherent screaming to offset the poppy parts" " dude, i've been listening to Marianas Trench lately, we should totally work that vibe into our sound"

I found the fear fever , virgin dirt, and younger kind of have this coheed and cambria sound, the vocals/melodies ... boring coheed and cambria songs but still ... and 27 club is the only song on here that even comes close to any one song on fake history

Dude, the lyrics. Don't even pretend they're not angsty rebellious punk cliché to the max. I can hear similar stuff from every random 15 year old rebellious dipshit.
