Was it Detroit Metal City? I haven't seen it, but it seems like the most likely comedic anime to have a Bodom poster. Then again, they seem to have a sizable following there.

I'm glad this didn't continue their downward spiral. This is on par with Hate Crew Deathroll

I was worried this would suck so I was quite surprised at the overall score and thought maybe their back. They are

Fuck yeah. I would very rarely use the word "fun" to describe the music I like to listen to but CoB would always put a smile on my face with their best stuff. I'm spinning this with a mile wide grin right now.

I think I speak for the majority of COB fans when I say that this album shows the band returning to their roots. Whilst none of the songs here still manage to match the quality on COB's first three albums, I found every one to be very enjoyable. In particular I loved how well orchestrated the keyboards were with the rhythm section, making songs such as the title track, 'Transference' and 'Bodom blue moon' all the more consistent and excellent. A couple of songs (namely 'The days are numbered' and 'Damage beyond repair') disappinted me a little, but not enough to make this whole album any worse.

Eh I don't know, sure this is the best thing they've done in a decade but it's still about half as good as hatebreeder

Probably. This is good, but I haven't spun it in quite a while, and I don't really feel the need to either. One of those albums that I can dig when it comes up on rotation, but will not grant special listening time to.
