i seriously don't understand how some people consume music
how can you even get enjoyment out of music if you force yourself to listen to 15 new albums every
day tell that to breakingthefragile, since he listened to 4 to 6 new albums every day for
like 4 (probably more) years of his life. he's also about the same age as I am or something.

well personally, i can't really listen to an album more than a few times in a given week. i just like keeping it fresh because if i don't, i'll get bored of albums i really enjoy. like that Laura Stevenson album is my aoty, and I listened to it 6 or 7 times in the first 2 weeks i had it, and haven't really listened since. i'll come back to it soon i'm sure, but i just like bouncing back and forth between a ton of different stuff, so sometimes i might listen to 5 or 6 new albums in one day. right now for instance, i'm on my third new album of the day.

and the people who are usually the most elite are the dudes with 3000+ ratings and other in their pie chart! not sonic and kill. they aren't technically elite, but they have really good and diverse taste (with no other in their pie chart).
