I never expected The Avalanches to take such a psychedelic turn in sound and wow those string samples

Wildflower was really good, the second half was significantly weaker though...

Not sure why peple are complaining about Saturday Night Inside Out though since it's one of the best tracks on the 2nd half.

Can't listen till later but checked out a few of the 30 second samples. Sounds like there are some gorgeous melodies on the album

Hope Wildflower beats Radiohead in terms of average honestly.

Opinions on Wildflower after 2 full listens: it's ok by Avalanches standards. 2nd half feels very uneventful. I get what they were going for, a much more psychedelic sound than SILY, but it just came off as a bit drab aside from a couple tracks. Highlights are Because I'm Me, Subways/Going Home, Harmony, and Kaleidoscopic Lovers. Like a 3.3 or 3.4/5 overall.

Yeah Stepkids was one of the better tracks of the 2nd half. Is it just me, or did some tracks feel like they were mixed very low or just oddly in general (example: Live A Lifetime Lover)?

I could see it reaching a 4.5 for me, but a 4 seems right for now
