Hey, if he likes Opeth, In Flames, and Agalloch, then me might like BTBAM. Granted they're more metalcore but I consider them be prog as well.

Funny, ironically the one that I've been jamming to most by 10 Years recently is Feeding the Wolves. Damn, Shoot It Out is awesome imo.

I wasn't a fan of the harsh vocals in btbam, and it was just all over the place musically. It's been a while since I have listened to them, tho.
Also, the last time I remember having the discussion of screaming in music with Mongers, he wasn't a fan, so I was still operating under that assumption.

I feel like we're to the point now where if you say you dislike screaming/harsh vox it's almost on the level of saying something like "I dislike horns" and you're just severely limiting the kind of stuff you listen to.

I know they're not for everyone, but I still think saying you won't listen to them is around the same as saying you won't listen to
a particular instrument or genre and you're really letting yourself miss out. All I'm sayin'.
