Just realized the t/t is about abortion... How Sakurai told it from the baby's perspective is heart wrenching. Here are the translated lyrics: https://sites.google.com/site/lyricsyndrome/lyrics/buck-tick/darker-than-darkness and here's a little analysis, line for line:

Violent gushing red

Screaming madly through my birth

Into the darkness

At first I wondered what that meant. Surely it had to be involved with a baby and death. He went though his birth into darkness, meaning he died after birth violently through the vagina. Still ambiguous, but the concept is starting to take form.

My beauty warping into ugliness

I sing and sell my songs of cruelty

My songs of love

The key here is the "warping". Abortion often requires sucking up the baby and placenta which ends up deforming the baby. They are also still alive and crying when pulled out, "singing a song of cruelty, a song of love". Their cries are of survival and human nature, as abstract as the feelings described.

Transparent lake mingling bodily fluids

Myself and myself, we steal from each other

The first part is quite obvious: the remains of the baby are scattered like a lake in the abortion tube. The second line, however, requires some thinking. I may not be right, but I think what Atsushi meant here was that the parts floated around, changing spots. It's as if these parts are free to steal each other (moving past each other). Again, just another way to say the remains of the baby are floating around the tube.

Ah, at only three years old

With black and red eyes

Just like an angel

Starved for love, I devour you

The first line made me have some doubts about the theme. However, I suspect Atsushi is talking about the mother's actual marriage and falling in love with the father. He was "starved for love" and never really wanted. This is contrasted more by comparing him to an angel, something parents often do. The black and red just refers to his body's different hues. It could also be used to metaphorically picture him as a devil, ironically contrasting with the angel metaphor done before.

In my castle built of glass

No one shall come to me

Quite simple. Pregnant mothers are often weak, a castle of glass for the baby. The second line is the baby remembering when he feeltthe safety of his or her mother, feelt safe in the uterus.

Ah, trudging through the desert beneath the sun

On this last hallowed ground

Here, let me melt inside you

Since the baby is quite exposed, it feels hot against the operation lights. Hallowed is used ironically, as many babies have died on the surface where the operation is taking place. The last line calls back to the "warping" mentioned before.

My dream drops into darkness halfway through

I’m a lost child, waiting for the moment

When someday, I will awake

The baby's anima speaks to itself. To me, it seems reassuringly. I will come back, I will be born again and I will do all I dreamed of.

Ah, show me your lovely face,

Even just once

Yes, that was eternity

As the smile of the steaming ocean

Vanished in a moment

The baby asks to see her mother even if just once. As if taken by a wave, everything vanished after what seemed "an eternity". This shows perfectly the evolutionary instincts human has as soon as born. There's love to mother, to family. The baby tragically dies while thinking lovingly of his or her killer.

Well, enough of my blabber. Time to sleep.

If truest you mean nearly everything wrong with Visual Kei today then yeah ;) Also Buck Tick aren't VK.

@50iL: You'll become the next Cayce at this rate haha. You'll have fun with the lyrics on Six/Nine, pretty mean spirited overall.

I was listening to LION today and it hit me what a bloody amazing track it is. I've underrated it on here for far too long, so damn catchy.
