I just prefer One. It was a good example of djent done right.

No, just stupid users.

I'm inclined to agree that anyone rating this below a 2 is rather biased. I rarely give anything below a 2 because that means it has little to no redeemable value. A 1.5/5 is barely listenable. There is obviously talent here and that alone should indicate that this is at least a 2/5.
Hey guys, this band has talent so you can't think it sucks. Doesn't matter how much talent you have, if you can't write good songs it doesn't mean shit how much talent you have.

well most of the hate is from them taking the ''textures'' route on this album is greatly straying away from the sound of 'one'. the album by itself is actually really good just compared to one it isn't very good. though i love the instrumental version of this allot more than with the vox.

Fear, you've been one to completely defy standards when it comes to album ratings so that statement confuses me for sure.
I liked One, this album is mediocre.

Truth

Damn, this is thoroughly underwhelming, especially since I enjoyed One so much.

One was excellent, no doubt, I can see why people wouldn't enjoy this. In any case, I recommend listening to a few more times - it does grow on you

Wow, you really suck. Do you often devolve into child like behavior?
I never said you can't dislike an album. I understand why people dislike this, and it's all fair criticism. There is a difference between writing "good songs" and writing unlistenable music. Leave it to you to miss the entire point and go off on some brainless tangent.

I don't have problem with the 2 and 2,5 rating rating cuz most of them are well justified, but the 1 and the 1,5 are just comical. Most of those ratings are just because they have a sheep-like hate for the style
|

"sheep-like hate for the style"
the genre is pretty bad though.
|
| |
It has bad bands like the hacktivist, structures, I the breather. But it has also good acts.
|
| |
Uneven structure
and i'm out of good bands already.

"I don't have problem with the 2 and 2,5 rating rating cuz most of them are well justified, but the 1 and the 1,5 are just comical. Most of those ratings are just because they have a sheep-like hate for the style"
bullshit
also funnily enough I haven't been seeing too many 1-1.5s
|
| |
I think I'm one of the only people who have this at 1.5 and yeah, that is a complete bullshit
statement.
It's not like I think Djent is a completely unlistenable genre or have bias against it (see my
ratings), this is just really really bad to me.

There's some truth to it. 'Most' does not equal to 'all'. You always see the same names pop up in
reviews of albums in this style dishing out 1's and 1.5's saying the shit's boring. They're boring.

Album Rating: 1.5
While the same users give albums like this a 1 or a 1.5(which is a stupid notion), the same users give an album like this a 4 or 4.5. It goes both ways, idiots.

album is decent

I urge people who really dislike the 'djent' scene to check out Novallo, Ever Forthright, Vildhjarta, Skyharbor, and Erra. Novallo in particular is anything but boring.
