Sowing is going through musical puberty and it is awkward for us all, but we have to remember that it's most confusing for him.

I actually think he grew out of that puberty when he came back from his hiatus. Maybe his voice still quivers from time to time, though.

God the slow paced songs on this are the best. Hannah Hunt. Wow.

I always thought they were pretty one-note (that note being exuberance), but Hannah Hunt has got me feeling legitimately plaintive.

Well they definitely have a sound but what good bands don't e.g. the Police, Talking Heads etc.

It wasn't their sound, so much as the tone that didn't gel with me. It was a little too specific. I don't know.

diggin this on repeats. I agree, it's way more of a story start to finish... but poly, definately

give the others a listen. the band sees it as a trilogy of sorts, so its good context. There are some

pretty fun tracks (especially on the first).

just because he vocally sounds similar to paul simon doesn't mean the music as a whole is indebted to simon

never said he owed simon anything.

just that it reminds me of a boring paul simon.

just because you like it doesn't make the simon comparison invalid
