I'd never listened to TDEp before I heard farewell mona lisa on the radio and i was like holy shit, was probably my favourite song of the year at the time

I remember the first time I heard Dillinger. I was on a Model UN trip, in the computer lab at Georgia Tech. I didn't give a shit about Model UN, so I was looking up music instead. It was when "Chinese Whispers" was released, and so I checked it out and was really impressed. Looking back upon it, though, the song was a strange one to introduce me to the band.

being a staff member gets you some special privileges, such as getting promos. promos are just copies of an album sent to music review publications so that somebody on their staff (Mr. Royal here) can listen and get a review out before release, with the intention of building up some hype.
