Completely agree, Elegy is such a nice album and more interesting than anything they did since.

Elegy is sweet, but I wouldn't go that far.

Ok there's no saxophone on it, but I consider that a good thing.

Which one would you say is more interesting?

Well yeah if that's how you meant interesting then I'd agree. I was just talking about in terms of quality.

Not saying Elegy isn't a quality album though because it is.

Or early signs of dementia and old man bitterness. Depends which side you're on hahaha.

Because I'm pretty bad at being a metal fan, the first I heard of this group was the new single that dropped the other day.
I'm not sure I can take on 11 albums all at once, and I'm a massive stickler for high-level production, so what albums do I need from these boys?

I'd say Silent Waters might be a good choice production and sound-wise.

Skyforger is less metal, so it could be a great introduction for you, but Silent Waters is the better album.

Silent Waters is one of the best metal album ever made so yeah get on that. Band in general rules hard though and the new album is gonna slay.
