It really does. Even as someone who isn't Christian anymore, it's still a really well-written album on a secular level. I think what separated DC Talk from most CCM bands is that their lyrics were more universal and tackled a wide array of personal and social issues. That, and they were one of the few bands in the genre that actually had the balls to question their faith in their songs
