it's amazing that europe is the same size as the US almost, but has infinitely more historical/ cultural sights to see. also double the population density.
anarchist - maine is a pretty isolated/ woodland area for the most part. known as one of the most beautiful nature retreats in the US. pretty crazy that iceland is even more secluded.

Paris was not that impressive this is true, and i like not being shot, or shot at. Where would you recommend then?

If I ever cross the pond I certainly won't be wasting any time in France. So many better places to see in Europe.

lol wow, you learn something new everyday. Yet Dubai in a country as small as UAE has a population about the size of new york city. Been there and that holds up as pretty accurate.

I'm kiddin, the azure coast is probably quite nice. Down near the Pyrenees is really nice too. Lots of valleys and stuffff. And my family's from the Loire Valley which has loads of nice towns and châteaus and shit. I just love the general culture and scenery. Paris is too touristy, it's all about "yeah let's see the fucking eiffel tower".

hey
hey
fuck you
Honestly Paris just gets all the attention but it's so overrated and there are so many other parts of France which are awesome but get overlooked.

I think Europe's bigger. I'd love to go on a roadtrip across the US though. There's so much to offer.

Weird, I always thought it was one of the small really densely populated north eastern states. I don't know much about the geography of the US in that respect though.

Haha anarchist thanks for the info. I used to live in germany, and wanted to see more of france, just never had the chance. I pretty much went to paris for one day to do that. "Okay, saw the tower, saw the lourve saw other stuff" I wouldnt mind checking out the Vineyards there. I do like my wines. The Loire valley sounds really nice though, i wouldn't mind somewhere to just chill and relax.

yeah europe is definitely a bit larger. i really need to get out of north america sometime... i go to mexico all the time, but it's not the most exotic place. been too busy to plan a long vacation, would want at least 2 weeks if i went somewhere far away. thinking argentina/brazil, japan, or a couple places in europe (spain definitely, maybe italy and greece). we'll see, my company has a hard time allowing extended vacations, the most anyone in my dept has ever had approved is like 7 days

ive wanted to go to greece for a long time but its one of the most expensive tickets
|

I really wanna go to Brazil and Japan. Spain and Greece are good as long as you avoid the resorts. I really wanna go to Italy properly. What I've seen of it was awesome.

Yeah , mexico is a little too dangerous for my liking right now, or so it seems. I have yet to travel to the pacific area much,
though Japan and new zealand would be at the top. I know people that were now in brazil for work , and they loved it. I
loved europe . The food the culture, the history, everything about there to me is lovely, as long as you can live without
wal-mart and 24 hr conveniences.
EDIT: Italy is amazing anarchist, if you love good food and wine, plus a lot to see Italy has got it. driving there can be "fun"
though lol.

Mexico is fine. I mean, if you go to Chihuahua you're asking for trouble but it's got some areas aimed at tourists like Cancun. Wouldn't really wanna go there myself though tbh, I'm more interested in South America.

I have only been to the dominican republic in the SA part. Chile would be nice to see someday, i hear brazil and argentina are where its at. Yeah some parts of mexico are okay im sure, but yeah not much for wanting to go there myself tbh.

mexico rules, but you gotta be careful in the north, and even monterrey. i go there for business every few months (guadalajara mostly, mx city, monterrey, reynosa, and matamoros). this past december i went for a week to wine and dine clients, was pretty fun. ended up on this beautiful locals-mainly beach in vallarta... had some bomb local seafood and piles of awesome tequila right on the beach
|

Yeah I've been interested in Chile for a while. I've been to Ecuador and it was awesome. It's like a microcosm of everything great about South America: Amazon, Andes, Paramo, a different kind of rainforest on the coast and Quito is sweet.
