A DOOM ranking would be really tough for me but I'm certain Doomsday is my #1. This one would more than likely be #2. Vaudeville might take the third spot though honestly. It's a classic for sure.

idk back in the day before looking online I would never have guessed that this would become a fan favorite over his other albums, I always liked Vaudeville more. when this came out I was sort of disappointed with it when compared to Doomsday, it grew on me though.

It’s a bit cluttered. So is Doomsday. Madvillainy and vaudeville are unbelievably consistent and focused, except for maybe the open mic night skits on VV

the open mic night is one of my all time favorite skits lol. agreed though, madvilliany and vaudeville are probably the “best” DOOM from a technical standpoint, although I totally understand liking this album more.
