this albums brilliant. the first 5 songs are the best. it trailed off towards the end i feel

okaaaay.......... you only think half of the album is brilliant then. I feel the latter part of the album features some of the best songs. Rosemary, Tempest, and Goon Squad....how can you possible say it trails off?

What about the last song What Happened To You? That song is phenomenal.

for me this is actually kinda similar to Diamond Eyes. not ULTRA similar, though, just close

I meant it more in the respect that Diamond Eyes features their most consistently immediate/catchy material, whereas this album is more like the rest of their discography in that the songs/melodies take a good amount of time to unwind and stick in your brain.

Good review, reads a bit like a 3 but I guess it's hard to let things go. Also, to people saying this review is terrible: just because you disagree with his opinion doesn't mean that it's poorly written.

I mean really, i was not a fan of the direction they were going on Diamond Eyes. A couple of songs straight saved that album. Then i heard the 30 second previews for this album. Was even liess ecstatic after that. I finally heard the entire album, and wow was I impressed, they did redeem themselves, your review is null and void
