good review, BUT, really if your looking for a song-by-song review on many of the pink floyd albums allmusic.com has a very large selection on reviews on the pink floyd albums AND songs. i learned alot about this album and animals from allmusic. not to put down sputnike cuase sputnike is great but allmusic has paid professionals reviewing these things and tells you everything you want to know about pink floyd songs.

I LOVE THIS ALBUM! If I had only one CD ever, it would be this one. This is one of the coolest CDs ever, if you don't have it go buy it NOW.

Dark side of the moon is indeed extremly overrated.

But on Ummagumma Disc 2, thats some proper floyd.

^I concur, Ummagumma disc 1 is weird at best, but disc 2 is well worth a listen I only wish there were more tracks.

This album is great to me because each song can stand alone and still be great, as opposed to some other Floyd albums where you need to hear certain songs in context to appreciate them. This being said, the album is even better as a whole. Definitely one of my favorite Floyd albums, and I'd give every song a 5/5.

This is very close to being a 5. I was so glad I decided to buy it. Wish You Were Here is basically a perfect song. I love the guitar and I can tell I'll be listening to this a lot for a while.

Excellent excellent album. Great review too. "Wish You Were Here" is an amazing song, as are all of these songs. I don't know why I took so long to try out Pink Floyd, but I'm lovin em.

I just bought it and I'm listening to it for the 2nd time i'm halfway through have a cigar and I gotta say I like darkside better...
