i quite like this but i prefer when its just him and his guitar without all the extra fleshing out of the sound, it just places more emphasis on his lyrics which are his big appeal rather than the music itself

I haven't heard anything before All Hail West Texas but I'd say this is my favorite MG album after Tallahassee maybe. They're all great though.
