"Best thing from Sumerian isn't saying much"

Maaaaaaaan, Between I See Stars, Capture The Crown or Asking Alexandria, i dunno which is worst, though i think it was that last The Facless album.

"Best thing from Sumerian"

Dude, new Body Count in 2013. THAT will be the best thing ever from Sumerian. Closely followed by Dillinger.

hahaah evreaia this band sounds NOTHING at all like born of osiris... born of osiris is a series of endless breakdowns with technical solos and whacked out synth/electronic moments... how you can say these two sound the same is beyond me...

good review and a good album

There were no weapons of mass destruction
Or mobile biological weapons labs
The agenda was to remove Saddam Hussein
To reap the oil and establish a base

The Bush administration made a series of claims
Prior the Iraqi war, abuse and misuse of intelligence
There was no collusive relationship with Al Qaeda

I've listened to a few tracks on here.
I really doubt this is a 4.5. But at the same time, I really doubt this is a 2.

Lyrics are quite hysterical. If I didn't know they were lyrics, I'd think I was reading an anti-
American government paper.

Vocals are quite good. Really loved the bass work. My only real complaint here (as for now) is the
quality of the album. Seems too compressed for my liking. Some of the composition choices seem a bit
awkward as well. Though, I love the intro for "The Escapist Notion".

This isn't anything groundbreaking or phenomenal, but you guys are really writing this off as way
worse than it actually is.

I mean, it's all opinion, but I can't see this actually being below a 3.

No it isn't. Not a classic by any means, but I think that most of the backlash against the band was because of the hype. Pleiadian Keys and Disclosure are pretty sweet tunes.

Pleiadian Keys got me soo stoked. But when it came out, it played so wrong to me. Go figure. I just don't like it. Seems like they tried too much to be unique by doing pretty much what everybody is doingEXCEPT... They had a muslim playing sitar.

Nothing against Al' Mumim (or wtv), but it just felt wrong. And it doesn't sound good imo.
