album gets way too much hate here, most other places they get quite a good reputation
|
| |
The hate that receives this band most of the time could be cuz a big purist metalheads hate than modern metal bands with ocassional clean vocals like Sylosis are often consider by some people a revival of thrash metal. So for a big part of the most purist metalheads this band is consider an abomination, sometimes the hate against this band is funny as hell and the hate against this band is almost only seen here and in RYM.

the songs are too long, wah
|
| |
I love long songs.
|
| |
its not effective here though it gets boring
|
| |
I enjoy them but here are not the best sylosis long songs, the best long song Middleton and company have ever made is Last Remaining Light.

they were soo fucking good live as well, one of the best gigs i've been to in a long time
songs too long? only a few of their songs go over 7 minutes and apparitions>last remaining light
|
| |
I enjoy more Jaime vocals than Josh work, so Apparitions is still consistent but for me Last Remainin Light is one of the top songs on my playlist.

Jaime is the better vocalist technically, but i prefer Josh's vocals i think they fit the bands sound better
