I like to write alot of songs and i want to record music and i want to form a band. but i feel as
though i have no way of showing my creativity to since because i'm trying to find band members but i
cant find anybody and i have no way of recording my songs. as you know butterflies are very beautiful
creatures. but if one is caged, how will anyone see it's beauty. Hence the name CagedButterfly. ^_^

To tell you the truth. i write anything. though i guess you can call it alt. rock i could write a song that sounds like Rise against one day, or i could write another song that sounds like Radiohead the next. i like to experiment ya know? but i try not to compare myself to other bands, i'd like to say im original.
and ive only been playing the guitar for about 8 months. im not too good on it yet.

I have a mic but its bad quality, the one i want is expensive and i don't have the cash unfortunately. i already got audacity, now all i need is that mic. but what i really want to do is form a band. but i dont know were to find bandmates. ive tried craigslist.

A good mic isn't that expensive. You can get one for $100. Audacity also sucks balls, just pirate something better. I know how you feel about wanting a band and not being able to find any, but that's why I compose every aspect of my own music and record it myself.

I play everything but drums, but I know enough theory to program them just fine. I write the drums in guitar pro and then use EZDrummer to convert the midi into actual sampled drumming.

The first track is a cover with rough production, the second track is a rap song I wrote about my friend sucking dick (made the beat too) and the next three are all songs I wrote a few years ago and are sloppy as fuck, but I love them. I'm working on an EP right now that is hardcore/post-rock in the vein of the first track uploaded.
