I love both CDs either way, he has a fairly good screaming voice, better than most I've heard.
I'm really hoping for the album for next year to be awesome.

I'm pretty sure I read that the reason he changed his clean vocals was because his WtF voice didn't suit the CoE songs.

@Chan: Yeah, I tend to like the songs on here with less screaming, like IWSYT part 1. Chapter Four is what got me to buy this CD in the first place.

This album would be a lot better without the screaming, though it is still listenable for me. The screaming is just painful to listen to in some songs, but in others it sounds good, like Second Heartbeat. It's been months since I've listened to this but from what I remember, I agree. Second Heartbeat and Chapter Four were fairly good but Desecrate Through Reverance and I Won't See You Tonight Pt 2 were pretty bad.

The screaming is one of the reasons that I probably won't get StST any time soon. Do either of you find it worth the money?

I think your review is very well done but i disagree with your opinion on Radiant Eclipse. In my opinion its one of my favorite songs on the album.

LOVE THIS ALBUM, and I love CoE, but STST is still kinda garbage imo except for a few songs.
Highlights here are chapter four, I wont see you tonight pt 1,
desecrate through reverance, and second heartbeat.

this album is actually pretty heavy. A decent piece of metalcore, i just don't like the band where it is now. I hop ethier next album is mor emetalcore ish because i think that's thier niche.
