What defines mainstream rock? Besides the fact it gets noticed and played.
That's kinda hard. I'll say mainstream rock is typically popular rock music that follows a very standard song structure and is typically very hook-based and catchy.

It's radio rock. Alter Bridge blends a fair bit of metal into their sound and makes it, well, not suck. I hate most
mainstream rock with a passion (Nickleback, Creed, Three Days Grace, and other shit like that.)
Anyway, Good examples of Kennedy's unmatched vocal talents are the title track, Blackbird, and Ties That Bind.

This album would lead to the making of one of my favorite APC releases (and without question some of the best remixes), aMotion. For that alone I could love this album, but then you come to "The Package" "The Nurse Who Loved Me" "A Stranger" and "The Noose." For these alone I think it's worth buying the album, "The Noose" is pure beauty.
