I only rated this for the hipster cred tbh
@rob They're not all piano, there's some basic drum parts too but they're all played by Rick as per the one solo track by each musician thing they were obsessed with for some reason. And yeah, it's a great track

The excellent live album section is the only part anyone should check out, because my God the studio album part is some of the worst, most insufferable shit Floyd made in their entire run (no wonder even they dismiss this record nowdays). They must have been high as fuck when they recorded it.

Gilmour said they didn't really do drugs besides an occasional reefer.

ye bruh it played a major role in rick getting kicked during the wall and why dave went from a 10/10 looking dude to a mess real quick (no offense to the guy hes basically my favorite living person)
|

Same here. He really went from gorgeous to drunk dad. It all makes sense now.

The Narrow Way is the only one on side two that works as actual cohesive music
|
| |
Floyd's interest in musique concrete was one of the worst decisions in the band's entire career. That's what makes this and a saurceful of secrets so unlistenable.
|
| |
lul saurceful of secrets has no musique concrete elements. Judging from your rates you are not even a fan of the genre.
|
| |
Dark Side of the Moon is the only Pink Floyd album I can think of that has any musique concrete elements. And even then, they're only briefly touched upon to drive the conceptual nature of the record
