Worked up to this album chronologically, and a GOAT band up to now. I'm afraid to continue.

So as i fully embrace their sound on here, which album would you logically suggest listening to for a guy who's about to delve into the rest of their discog?

Selling England, I guess?

That'll prolly be it, then. I favor their vocals on here over some of their other stuff from what i can remember. The clean transitions and interludes and the fact that it's quite easy to get into.

This one is full of beautiful melodies.

Beaut of an album that I think, even though Peter is already gone, is the last of the old Genesis. Starting with Duke on downward, Genesis spirals into a hit making stadium filling machine. Good for their pocketbooks, not so good for quality of music.

"Beaut of an album that I think, even though Peter is already gone, is the last of the old Genesis"
I'd say that And Then There Were Three is the last old Genesis album. Despite the increasing pop elements, that was the final predominantly prog-oriented album in their discog before becoming more of a pop rock (albeit with art rock elements) band on Duke

Absolutely. Another classic from them, despite the absence of Gabriel.
