Going for Gravity tonight after work. Hongkong has become one of my fav albums of all time and I'm really enjoying going through all their stuff. Minimal techno really is my shit. This guy, Biosphere, Drexciya, Robert Hood, etc. Loving it.

Well took me until my 10th Monolake album to find one that really doesn't do much for me lol. This is a snoozefest, especially compared to their first 8 plus the new one.

I get that this isn't everyone's cup of tea Hawks, it's very field-recordingy and loose in a way. Love how detailed this all sounds personally, sonically it's super duper good, but the techno backbone is very very loose here.
I'll jam it some more today to get the balance right again!
What did you think about Silence? It's similar yet better I would say, soooooo good, one of my faves by him!
