It's hard to compare a collection of finished/mostly finished tracks + scraps of songs/outtakes to a 100% finished album so I just try not to compare this to any of the other Boys material

i don't know if the version on here is different as the original smile version, but yeah that song is annoying

I do think there's a weird part of my brain which just keeps me from enjoying the beach boys to full potential - Pet Sounds is good (but just good) and I adore many of the singles. But the doo-wop harmony n the overall package just kinda annoys me.

I have not heard it! My understanding was that it doesn't offer anything you can't find in a better form here but if that's not the case I'll check it out!
