Excellent tracks are $2? Wtf are you doing? It's the way I rate songs. It's based on
an average MP3 price of $1.00 per track. Great and excellent songs are those that I'd be willing to
pay more than the average price for. Good songs are worth exactly how much they sell for. Fair
songs are worth less than they sell for, and thus I wouldn't buy them unless they were part of the
album.
If we look at things on an album scale, and we assume that each song is $1.00, then the entire album
should cost $11.00. If you tally up all of the "prices" I gave each song, you'd get $13.00, which
means the album is a good deal for the price. If I had rated each song at $0.50, we'd arrive at a
total worth of only $5.50, which makes the actual price not a good deal.
Does that make sense at all? I'm absolutely willing to accept the fact that I'm insane.
