I love Flesh Canoe and the Purple Bottle, but I can't seem to get into this lately at all; I've been jammin' MPP, Strawberry Jam, Fall Be Kind, and even some Sung Tongs, but nothing on this has been able to catch my eye these days

Yep.
I hadn't heard this till February last year, after I heard MPP. The way I reacted was exactly the same as a lot of people said MPP affected them; I knew straight away it was a classic, nothing's ever changed, and it's quickly become one of my favourite albums evar.
