I'm laughing at your definition of opinions. I and the english language were under the impression that opinions weren't based in fact. Music is for enjoyment and the experience of how the artists resonates with each individual; each individuals past playing an intricate role in how that music affects them. Now, taking that people past varies greatly, you can't expect everyone's taste to be the same and thus people like other things.
