Yeah, it lacks some momentum i guess.

Still, very good effort and a good change of pace.

Haven't heard de Jongh's work on his previous band, must check it out.

Yeah. As much as I like this, CiLiCe debut album made my top10 of 2009.

Just finished CiLiCe's album - Awesome. Relentless and very original. I'll be giving it a score after i take another listen at it.

A few tracks have this Industrial feel to them that kept making me remember Spasm by Meshuggah. Which is a bloody good song btw

de Jongh should have never left CiLiCe. He should have kept them as a side project at least. But hell, what do we know.

Yeah. It's a shame because their new singer isn't half as good.

Pretty great album. Its not what i expected after Drawing Circles and Silhouettes, but still doesnt let down as a follow up. Not as many peaks as their other albums though

Textures will be headlining NH7 Calcutta in Dec' 13. Can't wait.

Very "airy" guitars on this album if I may put it that way.

Bought this yesterday based on reviews & turned it up once, only halfway through the last song. There's not much to speak of here - The production's basic, all the tones are pretty average, there's nothing overtly emotional, heavy or mathy about the songs & the singing either really needs some balls or tone - I'm ecstatic with either cause I sure as hell can't manage it myself! Was 30 old when I was a kid? I grew up with Mudvayne's LD50, Deftones, Underoath, f'n Pantera, this was a big step back tbh. Hoped I'd find something here that might impress me after being away from new music for a couple of years - help a brother out...

I personally kinda like this despite it being within the same sorta group of bands that I find horribly plasticky and insipid. I like its more organic feel, and the polyrhythms don't feel as ridiculously forced as in most math metal/prog metal/junz bands.
