I'm thinking really hard about bumping this to a 5

this is the only killswitch album I like. Jesse Leach was what made Killswitch good, Howard Jones is what made Killswitch more popular. I will say Howard can pull these songs off live, but the albums after this one just became too generic and predictable. I don't mind clean vocals in my metal, but come on.

Yea, I definitely agree that this is a step above and beyond all their other stuff, but I still have a sentimental spot for TEOH just because that's the first CD I got into by them.

Jesse can't do the clean singing as well as KsE's newer vocalist but he's a lot better imo with screams and really adding to the brutality of the music. The cleans are decent and its just a kickass album. The schizophernic vocals are cool, wide range of vocal abilities.

Very good. Jesse is a great vocalist. Don't quite know if I like him better than Howard.

To this day I still nod my head to the intro of My Last Serenade, love that song.
