@Futures it's not, though. that's what they do to get around taxes right now. undeveloped countries generally have little, if any, tariffs or export taxes, let alone human rights protections. that's part of the reason why corporations can exploit them to a degree they can't exploit americans right now. also, companies aren't taxed nearly as much as you'd think. corporate welfare is alive and well, don't you worry.

it's so hit and miss around here it seems... like usually ill meet a few who likes dope ass jams like I do (or just similar ones at least) but a lot of the time they end up just digging pop radio, and never seem to really dig into underground stuff or have much interest in it at all. i'm sure it's different in the city though.
that said one of my best chicks friends (who im seeing fuck the facts with saturday night, and saw converge with) has awesome as fuck taste, probably second best in my circle of friends (imo of course), so idk.

where am i? be honest I won't be offended
|

well you don't dig on weird anco (at least that i can remember) so you're automatically out of the top five, but you're close to the top of the group of non-elites. i'm fickle as fuck, sorry.

@futures
i would consider myself an anarchist at heart, but if asked to choose between the state running things or the capitalists i'd side with the state. ideally i'd like to see a system that relied more on the people in your direct proximity than on people who can't be held fully accountable for their behavior (the state and the capitalists). but i recognize that that is idealism. i'm not sure that we are conditioned to know how to treat each other in an anarchist system as things stand. for the transition period i'd like to see some type of democratic socialism.

@Futures well it wouldn't, it'd be chaos. we don't know how to treat other human beings because we've been conditioned to be competitive rather than supportive. but capitalism isn't working either, and at least anarchy/socialsm have good intentions. there is no perfect solution and there probably isn't even a good one. we've kinda fucked ourselves. for now i'm just going to do my best to work within the system that exists to help other people and focus on the things that make me happy, even if the system i exist in is counterintuitive to doing those things. i think it's important to know that change requires real sacrifice, and the white men in this country are going to have to realize that if they want to affect real change and be part of a collective good rather than part of the ruling class that, if it doesn't willingly change, will be remembered as one of history's evil empires.
