It's really bland.
How is this bland, curiously asking? It represents an amazing hybridization of thrash and black metal (at least to these ears). If you can recommend a band that does this better, by all means, tell me!

Lots of thrash abound! Listen to it again. Listen to the opening riff of Night's Blood. Thats a thrash riff Slayer wished they had come up with.
