there's tonnes of shit around here that get's dozens of 4.5-5s that I don't "get" but I think that
trying to argue that it's not anything special is kind of pointless.
Like: "but it's not like they do anything incredible or anything"
you know that's an opinion, right?

Anyway, I agree with this review the most. Very good album but not a 5. The main criticism I keep seeing is that they try to be "too epic" or are "trying to hard." I think they build it up at the right times, only sounding close to over the top when they need too. The 'Pale Black Eye-Virgin-Simple Math' was the perfect order/combination and obviously the meat of the album. It's all good though, every song fits the flow of the album, but they also all stand on their own.
