here's a thought: even if 2500 people thought the album was a classic, and I was the only person who thought it was awful, my opinion would still be worth as much as yours.

Believe what you believe (as you should), don't let anyone tell you otherwise, but music is as subjective a subject as there is. There will always be disagreements in opinion, and neither side is less authentic.
