Kinda remember deth from way back. Although grammar has always been an issue with him i don't remember his opinions ever being this poorly formulated.

Although i strongly disagree with the reasoning of Damnation being a 1.5/5, i can see why an old school metal fan like Dethrasher would rate this with 1.5/5.



Plus, I'm wondering whether some people on Sputnik will EVER realize that pos or neg is ONLY about the writing quality of a review and NOT about the "quality" of a reviewer, in terms of his/her conviction towards an album.

It's not just about whether its well written or not... Seriously think about that for a minute. I could write a review that flows well enough but goes nowhere, does that mean I deserve a pos vote?

I don't think it should exist tbh. I use it, and I appreciate that people care enough to pos/neg my reviews (i only appreciate the latter when they leave constructive criticism or some reason as to why they negged it), but yeah, people get carried away and it's become a big thing for some.

Opinions about music are highly subjective; However, writing skills aren't; Either one writes well or he doesn't write well, although i will admit there are quite a few stages between those two extrema.

Exactly, it's broad. I'd argue that you can write something that flows well but ultimately is compiled of weak points. I wasn't implying good flow in meaning, but rather structurally.
