Try L'Heptade by Harmonium. They both have the same form, the same shape.

''They composed and arranged orchestral bridges between the songs. These interludes are somehow there to make the transition to the next piece, much alike to The Moody Blues’ Days of Future Passed.''

-Taken from l'Heptade' review.

"New Day Begins" is breathtaking. The whole album is like a hard drug. I'm listening to this 2 or 3 times every day.

There literally isn't a bad moment on this record.

It's not quite perfect to me, but agreed there are no bad or weaker moments here. I need to hear some other Moody Blues albums as well though, one of those things I never get around to.

@Nag, try the double compilation album ''This is the Moody Blues'', or you can go with it: they're all rated - http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=224

Nah, most of the time I prefer full original albums, I'm just going to reserve some time in the near future for a more extensive Moody Blues session.

Early Moody Blues is amazing. Grew up liking it just cause my parents listened to it all the time. Didn't realize how incredible it really was until I grew up and learned more about music.

Some of the lyrics annoy me (e.g. Evening) but this mostly awesome, Nights is a killer

@Nag: Definitely check out On the Threshold of a Dream, one of my personal favourites.

According to ProgArchives, here's the best;

Days of Future Passed > To our Children's Children's Children > In Search of the Lost Chord = On the Threshold of a Dream = Seventh Sojourn > A Question of Balance = Every Good Boy Deserves Favour > Long Distance Voyager
