I love this album. "Battery" was the first track I heard from this, was watching a random stunt video online and the song was playing behind it, I loved it, and was stunned to see Metallica do something like this. This is easily one of the greatest live albums I've ever heard. Though it is tough to listen to in one go, each song has fantastic moments. "Battery", "Nothing Else Matters" and "One" are the ones that stick with me the most, but mostly every track is a 5/5 in my book.

I'm I the only one who finds it kind of annoying when lead singers make the crowd sing on live albums? Idk, but that's what mainly ruined Master of Puppets on this album for me.

I think it depends on the situation. The crowd's participation on Fear of the Dark or Blind Guardian's The Bard Song is what makes the live version more epic than the original. On here, it doesn't work that much but what is even worse on MoP is the orchestra.

Which live Maiden are you talking about when you say Fear of the Dark?

This album is pretty much unlistenable tbh - the orchestra just doesn't work on 90% of this

Fear of the Dark in a live setting is pretty much the best song of all time

Agreed Hans. Donnington, 1992. Maiden are also the greatest live metal act imo.

Great version too. The Donnington one is what got me into Maiden so it's closer to my heart.
