This is much better than I thought it would be. Always loved Jesse's vocals, puts his heart and soul into every line.
His next project should be vocals for a hardcore band.

This really is great, I enjoy this more than everything Killswitch have done since Alive or Just Breathing. Except maybe End of Heartache, but still.

Jared is completely ignorant of what good metalcore music is. A 2? Seriously...This is one of the best metalcore releases in the last 5 years. If you don't like metalcore then don't review it...

This album is amazing, I guarantee you when journalists talk about classic metal albums this will appear with Alive or Just Breathing (As Daylight Dies is a personal favourite) its just that good!
This is from like 3 months ago, but seriously one of the dumbest things I've ever read. Alive or Just Breathing is an excellent album, but nobody is going to be talking about it as a classic metal album. And I'm not finished with this album yet, but it definitely isn't going to be in any discussions for classic metal albums either, even though it's pretty good stuff and in the 3.5 or 4 range right now. Also, I'm one of the people who prefers Howard over Jesse, although Jesse is a damn good vocalist too.

Totally agreed, Hawks. To me, Alive or Just Breathing and The Hymn of a Broken Man are brilliant albums, but they're definitely not gonna be labeled "classic metal albums". This album has a 3.7 average rating! Like hell it's gonna be considered a classic...
I also like Howard over Jesse, even though they're both awesome.

AOJB is actually a pretty classic metalcore album, one of the first and best of "melodic metalore' i'd say
|
| |
You're right, but, I mean, how many metalcore albums are considered landmark metal albums?

I agree that it could be considered a classic in metalcore, but not metal in general.

But I'm talking about other albums that are considered "classics" like Reign in Blood, Don't Break the Oath, The Number of the Beast, Black Sabbath, etc.

There seems to be a lot of autotune on this album..

I'm not very fond of this album.
