Bullets and 3 Cheers are the best MCR albums, New Junk and Hot Damn are ETID albums. TBP was a failed queen attempt if you ask me.

So, i wasn't gonna listen to this, but i decided to DL it after hearing Sing on the radio on the way to class and getting it stuck in my head.

Didn't have high expectations, but they were surpassed. Yeah, there were some cringe-worthy moments on here, it was pretty much over-produced stadium rock, and as far as i'm concerned, Bulletproof Heart and The Only Hope For Me Is You are the SAME FUCKING SONG. BUT, this album gets points for being something that their previous albums weren't: Fun, stupid party rock not meant to be taken seriously. (And the people who DID take their previous albums seriously were just a bunch of angsty teenage idiots. So i guess they realized that and changed for the better.)

Zup bro, the negatives just far outweigh the few bright spots on this.

ya allmusic.com gave it 4.5 ! thats ridiculous... I haven't heard it but the concescus is telling me its not even close to that, then again allmusic isn't the best example of a quality reviewer...

The thing about Sputnikmusic is that it allows the opinions of everyone. But still, I think that a 3 or 4 is about as much as you should.

Or maybe the masses actually enjoy this, and the elite members of sputnik enjoy hating on decent music...just a thought.

beside one or two songs, the rest of the album lacked all sorts of creativity. It was bland and forgettable. I listened to it mutiple times and my opinon unfortunately never changed. just awful.

"While previously, Ray Toro and Frank Iero kept things varied and interesting, for Danger Days they stay in the background with generic, fast power chords beneath Gerard's ravings"

What the hell? Almost every single MCR song is nothing but generic fast power chords beneath Gerard's ravings. Maybe you just don't like the 80s sound?
