Still super weird this album's average is so low, it should at least be a 3.6 like come on

@ Dewinged, yes, same, great piece & "Astral Traveller", is excellent

You see Kill ancient member, up there in the comments, he will get out and get you, if you dont behave. hihihi.

discog walk; revisite session, on the remastered 2013 japan ed, sound is clear. they are still maturing in this album. Top tier band, great inconsistent album. Dont forget that it was created in 1970. These guys, with others, are constructing prog rock. Just for this, they are excellent, as a whole.

Agreed, that without Howe & Wakeman, they are just flirting with their potential. At least, Anderson & Bruford were already here.

3.0(work)+0.5(ground breaking band in a creative exploration state) = 3.5

Yes there are two, "No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed" by Richie Havens, Jerome Moross and "Everydays" by Stephen Stills. But it never happened again in their following works.

good to know they did not do anymore covers from then on. even if they did. it would be nice if they put it alongside the song title like other bands have done. EX: (Stephen Stills Cover)

Yes, they did. They never denied that. I have both copies of both albums and the writers of the tracks are mentioned. You can see that if you take a look at Wikipedia, for instance. Besides, the covers are all very interesting and very different versions, more rocker.

on wikipedia it is hard to figure out if it is a cover or not. some people actually put (cover song)

some just list a different writer, which doesnt necessarily mean it is a cover song, only that someone else wrote it.

so then id have to do an individual search for that song and sometimes i dont get the best results

True, true. But in the case of Yes, the band always indicates in the interior sleeve of the albums the name of the composers of the tracks. Actually, the band always put the names of the band members as the composers of their tracks due to the legal rights.
