A lot of big record companies do that now. It's shameful. And I think you're thinking of trustkill andycasy. Trustkill was the worst fucking record label known to man..they literally took a band with potential, Shit on them and forced them to alter their sound to a generic chip chop generic metalcore band. It was like early stages of Sturgis, with less auto-tune and more chug-a-lug

the cleans yes! they grate on me for some reason and usually im not even picky with them so long as they're filled with gooey melodic hooks haha
